A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Mirage training fighter jet crashed in Hyderabad Thal area of Bhakkar on Wednesday. The pilot remained unhurt. According to a PAF spokesman, pilot Farooq was flying the training jet when it caught fire. “Fortunately, he managed to eject safely after the aircraft caught fire and it crashed in a suburban area of Bhakkar.” Police cordoned off the crash site.
