‘No deal in caretaker setup acceptable’

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said no deal would be accepted in the caretaker setup.
“All political parties should be consulted for the establishment of a caretaker setup,” Imran said while talking to reporters in Lahore on Wednesday. He said he was visualizing a crisis on the political panorama of the country, adding that Pakistan was the only country in the Third World which had a free judiciary. Commending the judiciary, Imran said the people of Pakistan had achieved an independent Supreme Court after a great struggle. “A free judiciary is a blessing and the Pakistani nation should stand by it,” he said, adding that he and his party expected justice from the highest court. Imran further said it was the free and impartial apex court that had exposed high-profile corruption scams. “If there had not been a free judiciary, the corrupt leaders would have looted the entire country,” Khan stressed. The PTI chief reiterated that he would head to Waziristan along with homeless Mehsud tribesmen in order to highlight the drone issue on an international level.
