Indian model stumps Pakistani umpire with sex charges

An Indian model from a Mumbai neighborhood has accused Pakistani cricketer turned umpire Asad Rauf of exploiting her sexually for months after promising he would marry her, according to a NDTV report on Tuesday.
The model Leena Kapoor, in a written complaint to the police, alleged that she had met the former cricketer in Sri Lanka a few months ago after which they spent a few days together.
The complainant alleged that Rauf told her he would marry her and would also get her an apartment. She said that he did disclose his marital status and the fact that he had children but added that religion allowed him to have more than one wife.
As per the complaint, they met after that many times, including during the Indian Premiere League (IPL), after which he had, when asked about marriage, said that “it would happen soon”.
The complaint stated that when she called him a few days ago, he did not respond and around five days back, he refused to have any future interactions, allegedly saying he did not know her.
On the other hand, Rauf has denied the allegation, saying he did not have any sexual relation with the complainant.
He said that Leena Kapoor was making false accusations against her for “cheap publicity” and he was in consultation with his lawyer over the course of action in this regard.

  1. Since there is an unofficial ban on Sindhis and Balochs to become members of national teams of cricket and hockey since creation of Pakistan, we are unable to comment..

    Sindhis can become president, prime Ministers, chief Justice etc but not member of national teams of hockey and cricket. Vry sad.

    The cricket guys belonging to Punjab are continuously defaming the country, sometimes indulging in match fixing and some times involving in sex scandals with Indian model girls.

    • Are you not defaming yourself by demonstatrting that you are idiot and stupid. I am sure if you had a chance you would have taken the oppurtunity of having S**E**X with this model unless you are impotent.

      Second bit: Let's say you're right about the Sindhis can only become Presidents, PMs, CJs but not members of national teams. Hmmmmmm. Now what is the name of our current President and where is he from? Because he's only brought the nation much glory and honour. =P

    • its always the sindhis and baloch that induldge in a "sindhi and baloch" debate. you won't find a punjabi using words like punjabi, sindhi or baloch or making any racist remarks the way you have done stating that the national team is a punjabi team. well they are good at sports so its mostly people from that area just like sindhis are better politicians so they take presidency and PM and nobody from punjab uses words like sindhi president or prime minister. shame on you guys for using such shameless and racist remarks out of sheer jealousy. the pcb chairman is always appointed by your sindhi president so its not the punjab governing pcb or anything. you are more racist than india as instead of defending your country against conspiracies, you will blindly promote false allegations against your own country in the name of racism and jealousy – atleast they do that for another country and not their own.

    • I agree with Mr. Sial. He is right. I am sorry to say most of the fanatics and digustin stuff can only happen in Punjab. I hope one day Blochistan and Sindh become a seperate country so it does not come under Pakistan. Because of this repute of Punjabis, Sindhis and Balochis also tagged "Pakistanis" Lakhhh jiii laanat aa!!"

  2. Why should our media give coverage to such frivolous charges levelled by a lady of ill-repute against a Pakistani unpire of international standard, who is married. Similar charges of s-xual one night stands can be framed against members of the media, including the media barons. Will the media than give similar publicity?

  4. She is not the first woman in history to have been duped by a man, married or otherwise.

    What surprises me is he willingness to go to the police about it given the South Asian attitude to such matters as sex outside marriage. Which is to keep it quiet.

    I am also surprised that the Indian Police have the time to waste on it and that you have the time to write about it.

  5. What a news. The man did not rape her. She willingly got laid and now she goes to police. I am surprised that media man reporting this as a big news. I am sure any of these media men would not have hesitated to go for one night stand if theyhad the oppurtunity. Leave the guy alone. He did not commit any crime. If this is is crime then a overwhelming %age of men all over the world have committed this crime including most of politicians in Pakistan like Nawaz Sharif, Zardari ZAB etc. etc.

    • It is not even crime in Pakistan. If a man and woman want to willingly have S**E**X, why anyone should even interfere in therr relationship. It is happening every day in Pakistan, unless everyone is declared impotent.Model and Asad had fun and relationship got sour. What is is the big deal.

  16. Even if Asad Rauf had a fling, it was consensual with a women who passes as a model, but sleeps with anybody who can help her gain popularity. The press should have highlighted the escorts hired in Turkey & China on state expense by A to Z when he was on an official tour in 2010 and 2011.
