Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Syed said on Tuesday that PML-Q never supported confrontation among institutions as it is not in the best interest of the country.
Addressing a ceremony arranged by PML-Q Cultural Wing in commemoration of the 66th Independence Day at PML-Q House and later talking to Media, he said, “As a nation we should unite for the welfare and prosperity of the country.”
Mushahid Hussain urged, “We should not repeat our mistakes which we made in the past rather we should excel for the betterment of the nation.” He added that at present it was necessary to hold fair and free elections to stabilise the democratic institutions of the country.
He said Pakistan is the blessing of Allah Almighty and added that all forces should work collectively and there was dire need to formulate joint policy to address the issues on education, economy and energy.
Therefore, all forces should work together for welfare and prosperity of the country, he concluded.
