The sole aim and object of the jail project of All Pakistan Women’s Association (APWA) is to provide assistance to the inmates of the women’s jail.
This was stated by an official of APWA in a statement here on Monday. She said that on the eve of this year’s Independence Day, `Eidi’ and gifts were distributed among the women and children by APWA’s President Begum Laila Haroon Sarfaraz. APWA’s Farzana Rehman, Sajdah Soomro and TV artists Hina Dilpazeer and Hassan Nazli Soomro were also present on the occasion.
