The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Monday declared results of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-I Annual Examinations 2012, with the pass percentage of 49.87.
According to details, a total of 48095 students appeared, including 45646 regular and 2449 ex-private students out of whom 23985 – 23518 regular and 467 private students – passed the exams. In Humanities group, a total of 8147 students appeared in the exams and 3486 passed against 353 private students out of 1757 students appeared. In Pre-Engineering group, 13172 students appeared and 7280 passed against one private candidate out of four. In Science General group, 9528 students appeared and 4624 passed the exams against one private candidate out of two candidates appeared. In Pre-Medical group, 9392 regular candidates appeared in the exams and 6127 passed. No one passed out of five private candidates. In Commerce group, 5154 candidates appeared in the exams and 1928 students passed against 112 private candidates out of 681 appeared.
