Five more killed in Karachi violence

The pace of violence remains hitherto unhindered in the metropolis as another five people were shot dead in different areas of the city during the past 24 hours.
Police sources said on Monday, the latest incident occurred in Lines Area where unidentified miscreants shot a man to death.
Two brothers, police officers by profession– ASI Sher Dad and Muneer Dad, were injured in a firing incident in Landhi. They were rushed to hospital. However, Sher Dad could not sustain his injuries and passed away during his treatment.
A man, Arif Qadri lost his life in firing incident near New Karachi area of Power House Chowrangi.
Meantime, two groups entered in armed clash in Pahalwan Goth, where a man was killed and another injured.
A firing incident in North Nazimabad claimed the life of yet another person, identified as Aurangzeb.
