Youth to ameliorate nation’s fate under Imran: Qayyum

The International Youth Day gives the world an opportunity to recognise potential of youth, celebrate their achievements and plan for ways to better engage them in the development of their societies. This was stated by PTI leader and former minister Malik Abdul Qayyum. “Today’s youth are a transformative force; they are creative and resourceful. Since young people are gifted with open minds and a keen awareness of emerging trends, they are enthusiastic agents of change. Over the past years, they have achieved stunning results, overturned dictatorships in sending waves of hope across regions and round the world. PRESS RELEASE

They are standing up for the rights of the oppressed peoples, including those who suffer various sorts of discrimination,” the former minister said.
He added Pakistani youth would ameliorate nation’s fate under the dynamic leadership of PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
He further said the PTI recognises that aspirations of youth extend far beyond jobs; they want a seat at the table – a real voice in shaping the policies that shape their lives. “We in PTI take pride in working with and for young people. We want to learn the new language to stay relevant in their lives. In them we not only see the next generation of leaders but also crucial stakeholders of today. We are making all efforts to include young people in policies, programmes and decision-making processes that benefit their future and ours,” he stated.
Malik Qayyum emphasised youth would be in the vanguard of the PTI’s nation revival efforts. The energies and idealism of the youth would be harnessed to act as the locomotive of the national change. Forthcoming polls would provide an opportunity for change and young men and women were certainly going to seize it under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan, he concluded.
