Police raided a factory in Islampura on Saturday, and seized large quantities of chemical kite thread from its premises, City 42 reported.
According to the report, Islampura Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shams Durrani raided a factory at Akram Park, Chota Sandha along with his team, and recovered chemical kite thread worth millions of rupees.
According to police officials, the owner of the factory known as Malik Heera escaped from the scene.
The residents said that the factory was active only at night.
Meanwhile, police has also arrested a man named Awais who injured a 28 years old man Friday while flying a kite.
