Chairman Pakistan Trade Center Khursheed Berlas stressed the need for promotion of regional trade among the SAARC countries which has great potential and consumer market.
Referring to the trade of other regions, he said that SARRC counters can explore new avenues of trade and economic ties with the objectives to provide job opportunities, investment and business activities.
He termed series of “Made in Pakistan Exhibitions” very successful which were conducted in SAARC countries and said it has provided a platform to the businessmen for showcasing their products and the promoting their market.
“We have opened a window of opportunities for the business community and now government can extend its support to further cement these efforts”, he added.
The Ambassadors of SARRC countries expressed the need for developing business relations among SARRC countries and said that people had shown great interest in business relating activities. The heads of Chamber of Commerce and Industry assured that adequate opportunities would be provided to the businessmen of Pakistan to introduce the products of Pakistan at international forum by organizing exhibitions in different countries.
