Comprehensive traffic plan chalked out for Eid

The Islamabad police have chalked out a comprehensive traffic plan for Eidul Fitr. According to the plan, additional traffic police would be deployed around big shopping centres outside the big markets. One ASP, three DSPs, 5 SIs, 10 ASIs and 35 head constables would perform extra duty outside the big markets of posh areas while 10 motorcycles and 12 vehicles would also be used for this purpose. The senior traffic police officer said the duties would start at 8:30pm and end at Sehri time. In order to ensure smooth traffic around the city, every DSP would be responsible for his duty in his zone while inspectors would be deployed outside the markets. The services of 100 traffic police volunteers have also been sought in this regard. On the direction of the IGP, the implementation of the security plan would be supervised by Dr Moeen Masood.
