At least six people, including two tribesmen and four Iranian security personnel, were killed in an exchange of fire here on Saturday. According to details, several tribesmen, who were hunting in the area, mistakenly crossed the border with Iran, after which Iranian border guards opened fire at them, killing two tribesmen. In retaliatory firing, the remaining tribesmen killed four Iranian border security personnel. However, official sources have not confirmed the death of the Iranian guards.
