Zardari’s ouster essential to save Pakistan: Shahbaz

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Friday that it was inevitable to rid the people from Zardari and his team to save the country from further demise.
While addressing a delegation of parliamentarians, he said that the corrupt rulers had aggravated the problems of the masses by increasing load shedding, unemployment, inflation and poverty in the country.
He further said that the corrupt and incompetent group of Zardari had exposed the nation to all sorts of trouble and added that they would be made accountable by the public in the next general elections.
Shahbaz said that the failure of the present government could not be taken as a failure of the democratic system of Pakistan.
He added that the people had been deprived of their fundamental rights by the present regime which had badly affected the progress of the country. He added that the goals set for the prosperity of the country could only be achieved by the provision of basic educational and healthcare facilities to the masses.
The CM vowed to put Punjab on the road to prosperity before the next general elections. He said that mega development projects had been completed in the province during the last four years to the benefit of the common man.
Shahbaz urged the elected representatives to supervise the development work in their constituencies and ensure timely completion of ongoing projects.
