At least five persons were injured in separate roof collapse incidents due to rain here on Thursday morning.
According to details, three persons were injured when roof of a weakly constructed house located in Inner Mori Gate area collapsed. The injured were rushed to hospital by rescue personnel.
In another incident two persons were buried under the rubble of a house after it collapsed during heavy rain. The rescue teams dug out the injured from the rubble and shifted them to hospital.
