Secretary General All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said on Wednesday that Pakistan Muslim League-N’s (PML-N) announcement of its election manifesto was but an attempt to hoodwink the masses.
According to an APML central information secretariat press release, he said Nawaz Sharif governed the country twice but instead of starting projects of economic upliftment and solving problems of the masses, he hatched conspiracies against the state institutions to attain ultra-constitution powers. “This resulted in the collision between the institutions and the voters could get nothing from his both governments,” he said.
Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said Nawaz Sharif claimed to raise and double the budget of education and health but in reality he wanted to deprive the masses of these basic necessities of life. “Baseless allegations against Shaukat Khanam Cancer Hospital are evidence enough that PML-N wants to rob the people of health facilities,” he added.
He said further that during his past two governments Nawaz Sharif never focused on health and education sectors rather destroyed their already existing infrastructure.
“Due to the best track-record of good governance of former President Pervez Musharraf, the people of Pakistan are once against looking towards him to come and make the country strong and proposer,” he concluded.
Local admin fails to check prices: The district administration of Khairpur has failed in controlling the prices of essential consumer items, fruits and vegetables in eight taklukas of district khairpur during the month of Ramdan.
According to general public prices of consumer goods and other essential items, the prices are rocketing in the holy month of Ramdan but the district administration had failed in taking any measure in this regard. The administration installed few relief stalls in all parts of district where low quality items were being sold.

  1. The PML-N chief, Mian Nawaz Sharif has announced the election manifesto of his party in terms of three E’s: education, energy and economy. He has mentioned that the energy crisis would be solved in two years but has not specified any target for education and the economy. When will Pakistan achieve 100 percent literacy and become an Asian Tiger?
People now wish to know the details of plans and how they would be implemented as it is known to every Pakistani that political parties forget their manifestos after winning the election. The PML-N has been ruling 62 percent of the Pakistani population and its performance in the field of education, energy and the economy has been pathetic.
After the 18th amendment, provinces have been empowered to generate electricity; why so far not a single hydel project? Which power projects does the PML-N wish to implement to overcome the energy crisis? How will theft of electricity and line losses be controlled? The PML-N should also know that the new young voters want employment. The PML-N is already aware of the threat that the PTI poses in the upcoming elections and therefore should come up with a more impressive manifesto.
