Hot, humid weather likely in most parts of country

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Wednesday forecast hot and humid weather for most parts of Punjab and Islamabad in the next 24 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, seasonal low lies over Northwest Balochistan with its trough extending southeast wards and mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the province.
Weak Monsoon currents are penetrating into Southeastern Sindh. Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the province. However, rain/thundershower is likely in isolated places of the south east including Hyderabad, and Mirpurkhas divisions in the next 24 hours.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts in the next 24 hours.
Mostly partly cloudy weather is expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan with chances of rain/thundershower in isolated places of Kashmir in the next 24 hours.
Yesterday’s highest maximum temperature recorded in Dadu, Sukkur and Dalband was 42˚C. In Islamabad it was 36˚C, Karachi 33˚C, Lahore 36˚C, Peshawar 40˚C, Gilgit 33˚C, Quetta 37˚C, Muzaffarabad 37˚C, Murree 25˚C, Multan 41˚C and the highest temperature recorded in Faisalabad was 39˚C.
