The Federal government has announced three holidays for Eidul Fitr on Thursday.
A notification to this effect was issued by the Ministry of Interior on Thursday.
According to the notification, Eid-ul-Fitr holidays would be observed from August 20 to 22 (Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday).
Federal government employees will leave for their homes on August 18 and will enjoy holidays for 5 days with the inclusion of August 18 and 19 being weekly offs. NNI
