The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Employees’ Federation has demanded timely release of salaries and Eid advance prior to Eidul Fitr. CDA Employees’ Federation President Wazir Khan Niazi said that it was very difficult for the government employees to make both ends meet in Ramadan, adding that shopping for the festival of Eidul Fitr without timely release of salaries was not possible for them. Wazir Khan Niazi, Ahmad Ali Sherazi, Muhammad Abbas and other office bearers urged CDA Chairman Farkhand Iqbal to ensure timely release of salaries and Eid advance.
