About 100 Hindu families have migrated to India due to massive increase in cases of abduction, a private TV channel reported on Wednesday. According to the channel’s sources, the families had been residing in various parts of Balochistan and Sindh, including Jacobabad, Khuzdar, Osta Muhammad, for centuries but they have been victims of abduction and other crimes time and again.
Scared by the atrocities, more than 500 people have migrated to India leaving their mercantile activities and sources of income at the mercy of looters and plunderers. They left Pakistan to India by trains, where they deem themselves more secure. The affected families were of the view that nobody was secure in Balochistan anymore. “Although, we belong to a weak section of society; we would not like to leave our houses, but circumstances have compelled us to do so for security and survival of our lives,” an affected Hindu said.
Great! I hope the Indian govt. would do all it can to have these families settled in a place of their choice and help them to find a livelihood and a bright future for their children.
This is an absolute shame,our government or should I say Zardari should find some water and drown themselves in it.This is the second time I have heard of people seeking India's help,and we are taking about proud Pakistani's.But then again,this horrible government won't even takecare of muslims,poor hindus got no chance.I am glad for what they did.On behalf of alot of the Pakistani brothers and sisters,I wish you all the very best and I apologize to you personally for what has happened to you.One one should have to just leave their entire life generations deep and move,leaving everything behind.
No pakistanis are safe in that country, including except for the ruling class. Look at the president. He is living in a fortress. He cannot dare to come in public. So many people have been killed and president has never visited any of those places. Shame on this government where can other migrate to. Should everybody go to india.
Very soon the day will come we Pakistani Muslims will go to India and stay there as refugee status, because I see Muslims in India are much more educated and better off than Pakistani Muslims.
It is shameful that the state has failed to protect its citizens. Our Hindu brothers and sisters feel unsafe just as the Muslims feel unsafe. GOD help us all.
India should openly welcome all persecuted Hindus like Israel does for the Jewish community.
