Driver killed in firing on NATO container

A driver was killed when some unknown militants opened fire against a NATO container at Jamrud Khyber Agency on Monday morning.
The officials informed that NATO containers were on way towards Torkham. The vehicles when reached at Jamrud, were attacked by two persons riding on motor bikes. As a result of firing, the driver was killed on the spot.
The container was loaded with frozen chickens for the NATO troops camping across the border in Afghanistan. The driver was identified as Afghan
national.
It may be mentioned here that supplies to NATO via Torkham were restored after a break of 12 days. The supplies halted last time on July 24
when some militants attacked a convoy of NATO containers at Jamrud, Khyber Agency. Jamrud is considered strong hold of militants.
