Commissioner Karachi Roshan Ali Shaikh said on Sunday that during the first half of Ramazan 4466 profiteers and stockists had been issued challans and the fine of Rs 4,834,450 had been recovered for selling goods at higher prices than those fixed by the government. He said that crack down would continue against the shopkeepers including push-carts, patharas for selling goods at high rates and not displaying the official price lists.
