PPP-SB struggles for masses: Ghinwa

PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) Chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto has said that her party struggles politically for the prosperity of masses and development of the country.
She said this while talking to various delegations here at AL-Murtaza House on Saturday.
The PPP chairperson said that certain political parties came into power with the support of US and foreign powers and served their interests and such rulers were not sincere with the country.
She said external interference in national affairs had damaged the image of country and put the sovereignty of country in a danger. She said PPP-SB will continue its voice against anti-state elements and will foil all the conspiracies with the support of masses.
Ghinwa Bhutto stated that they were followers of Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto, who rendered sacrifices of their lives for the sake of country and nation and did not compromise with dictators, adding they will continue struggle for the rights of poor people. She said vote of public can change the fate of nation, so that masses should use its vote carefully and elect the honest people as their leaders. On the occasion, a delegation of PPP SB ladies wing led by Perveen Chandio met PPP SB Chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto, while several party leaders including Abdul Majeed Lahri, Rashid Mustafa Solangi, Mehrab Khan, Rasool Bux Bhutto, Altaf Malgani and others were also present.
PPP activist’s attempt to commit
self-immolation foiled: A senior Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) activist tried to commit self-immolation after he was barred from meeting Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah in Dadu district on Saturday.
According reports, Waris Jamali reached Deputy Commissioner House where Shah was busy in meeting and he tried to meet the chief minister.
He doused himself with petrol and tried to commit suicide as security staff of the chief minister stopped.
Security personnel foiled his bid as they rushed and snatched the bottle of fuel from him. Waris Jamali said he was very aggrieved and wanted to tell about his problems to the chief minister.
