Senate Chairman Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said Sunday that Tehran and Islamabad are determined to uproot all forms of terrorism.
Bukhari arrived in Tehran on Thursday on a four-day official visit.
This is his first visit to Iran since he assumed Senate chairmanship in March 2012.
Attending the Iranian Parliament’s Sunday open session, the chairman said Islamabad is fully satisfied with its cordial relations with Tehran.
He reiterated that the two countries share identical views regarding many regional and international developments.
Bukhari stressed that both Iran and Pakistan play key roles in regional development.
