Pakistan hockey team on Sunday won by 5-4 against South Africa in their fourth match at London Olympics at Riverbank Arena.
At the end of first half, both teams had equal scores of three goals each. The team embraced victory after Waseem Ahmed was able to secure a clean goal.
Before three minutes to the end of second half, Pakistan still faced the danger of defeat.
Earlier, Pakistan’s opening match against Spain ended in a 1-1 draw which was followed by victory against Argentina and a loss against Britain.
Australia leads pool A with 7 points, Britain is second with 7 points and Pakistan third with 7 points after the match against South Africa.
The team would play its fifth match against Australia on Tuesday.
