A Palestinian man was killed and another wounded in an Israeli drone strike on Rafah in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, medics and witnesses said. The men were riding a motorcycle at the time. Palestinian sources named the victim as Eid Hijazi, 23, a member of the radical Popular Resistance Committees. The Israeli army, in a statement, confirmed the strike, naming the wounded man as Ahmed Said Ismail, who “was among those responsible for the execution of the terror attack adjacent to the Israel-Egypt border, in which an Israeli civilian was killed, on June 18, 2012.”
