Rain brings relief: Citizens throng Damn-e-Koh, Pir Sohawa

The heat struck citizens of the capital city woke up to rain and pleasant weather on Saturday morning.
The The people of the twin cities had been under the grip of hot and humid weather for the last couple of days when rain started in spells Friday evening, leading to heavy downpour around Sahri time on Saturday bringing a pleasant change in the weather.
People thronged the public places such as Daman-e-Koh, Pir Sohawa, Lake View Park, Rawal Lake, Shakarparian, and Fatima Jinnah Park (F-9) despite fasting to enjoy the clouds, rain and beautiful Margalla Hills.
Also the Met Office, in its fresh weather outlook, has predicted rain/thundershower for isolated places of Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar divisions and Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan in the next 24 hours, which will persist for the next two days.
