KESC replaces old lights of Mazar-e-Quaid

Citizens of Karachi have lauded Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) for installing modern technology decoration lights in the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
It should be mentioned that KESC has replaced the old lights installed inside the mausoleum of father of nation with modern LED lighting technology.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Karachi Electric Supply Company Tabish Gohar inaugurated the lead lights.
Talking to media persons on the occasion, Tabish Gohar was of the view that KESC was sparing no efforts to make Karachi the city of lights again.
He said that Karachi Electric Supply Company has replaced 256 green technology conventional lights in the dome of Karachi museum with LED lights which has further increased the beauty of the national asset.
He said that old lights consumed 8.32MW while new lights would consume only 1.78MW power which would save 79 percent electricity with Rs4 lakh savings annually.
Tabish said that new lights installed in the museum and inside Mazar-e-Quaid area also environment friendly.
