The Flood Forecasting Division on Saturday has predicted that River Chenab will have high flooding at Marala and Khanki.
It said that high flooding is expected at Marala from 11 am to 8 pm with a discharge of 170,000 to 220,000 cusecs while 140,000 cusecs of discharge is expected at Khanki from 8 pm to 8 am on Sunday. Floodwater is feared to enter the low lying areas of Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin.
