Pakistan Railways authorities had planned to run special trains to facilitate the passengers leaving for various cities to celebrate eid with families but have failed to finalize the program to run special trains on the occasion of eid-ul- fitar due to shortage of engines, bogies and fuel.
It would have earned huge profit but keeping in view the financial crunch of the department PR has withdrawn the decision of running special trains on eid-ul-fitar.
