The Pakistan Medical Association Punjab has condemned the abduction of Professor of Psychiatry, Dr Ghulam Rasool in Quetta as shameful, and blamed the Balochistan government for the deteriorating law and order situation in the province. This was the second abduction of this kind in the last 15 days. These views were expressed by PMA office-bearers Prof Dr Ashraf Nizami, Dr Tanveer Anwar, Dr Izhar, Dr Abrar Ashraf Ali, Dr Shahid Malik, Dr Salman Kazmi and Dr Sabahat Habib Khan at a meeting at PMA House. The office-bearers alleged that the kidnappings were supported by the Balochistan government. They also called for a countrywide protest in this regard and announced full support for PMA Balochistan.
