A large number of unemployed youth in Chitral has reportedly joined the Afghan National Army, prompting the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Home Department to seek the details from the Malakand commissioner.
According to a statement issued by the KP Home Department, the authorities had taken a strict notice of the report. The department sought a report from the commission on the details of the people joining the Afghan army. The commissioner has been directed to inform the provincial government about the names of youth’s fathers, their addresses and other identification details so that an appropriate action can be taken in this regard, the statement said.
