Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Wednesday that Mohammad Ali Asad, the central character of Olympic visa scam, would be brought to Pakistan with the assistance of Interpol. The interior minister said that the details of his passport would “soon be shared with public”. Malik said anyone found guilty in the scam would be punished. He further said that the Pakistani authorities were “alert and ready” for the proceedings of the case. He said the procedure to compile information at the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) was “foolproof”. Malik said the Pakistani investigation team would soon be sent to London for further investigation of the matter. Earlier on Monday, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had declared Asad as the “main accused” in the case and decided to contact Interpol for red warrants against him. The Pakistani government had registered a case against Asad for “fraud, impersonation and mis-declaration”, and is seeing his deportation from the United Kingdom.

  1. What is this man chattering about. He is beyond doubt an idiot. He is making claims which he knows he can not achieve. Interpol won't give a toss to him just because he wants someone who reported some alleged deeds by his department. The Interpol is not even giving any importance to the Red Warrant issued to apprehend commando Musharraf. The Interpol has flatly refused to comply with Pakistan Government's half hearted request to arrest Mush.

  2. R.M is talking b-ll sh-t. When he gets monthly from FIA, or Immigration or Passport cell, it is money from illegalities that are being committed. Can R. M explain how Ruhullah the man convicted for murdering our AG got a new passport while he was in prison?. How did this man get out on a fake passport through immigration at Islamabad Airport?.
