Sindh Minister for Revenue Jam Mahtab Hussai Dahar said on Wednesday that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would have a country wide success in the upcoming general elections and the next Chief Minister Punjab would also be from PPP as the present democratic government had made new records of public service during the last four and half years.
Talking to media during his visit to the newly constructed building of Degree College Obaro, he said that millions of needy and poor women were provided financial support through Benazir Income Support Programme. “Millions of young men were given employment on merit base besides millions of others who were provided skill training through Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Youth Programme,” he said.
The provincial minister added, “Conspirators against PPP have never been successful in the past and will never succeed in future as well. The people of Pakistan love PPP very much and it has deep roots among the masses. Those who speak against PPP should sweep before their own doors.”
Jam Mahtab said that the present government had launched many mega projects which brought prosperity to the masses.
On the occasion of his visit, he directed the officers concerned to complete ongoing schemes at the earliest and also to maintain standard and transparency in this regards.
PPP working for development of Pakistan: Rafique Engineer: Sindh Minister for Archives Rafique Engineer Wednesday said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) had been working day and night for the improvement and development of Pakistan and its people.
He said that PPP had become the role model for other political parties. He further said that under the dynamic and charismatic leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari, the party had achieved many successes.
“At the time when our party came into power, Pakistan was facing acute shortage of wheat, unemployment, power crisis, suicide bombing and many other problems. But our government worked day and night to eliminate the all the crises,” he added.
Rafique Engineer said further that PPP would sweep in the upcoming elections. He said that though a few people were criticizing the president, the same would “bow their heads down after the elections.”
Talking about Lyari, he said that the people of Lyari were loyal to their political ideal Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and to their party.
