AG withdraws allegation against judges after getting snubbed by CJ

The attorney general withdrew allegations which he levelled against the bench by terming four judges prejudiced during the hearing of law regarding contempt of court.
During proceedings, the attorney general said in his arguments that parliament had the authority to regulate the proceedings on law of contempt and every institute had to function under the law made by the parliament.
Justice Jawad S Khawaja asked the AG that he had given any application on partiality of judges under prescribed procedure. On which, the AG replied that his allegation against the bench is a part of his argument and he does not want to bring it in black and white.
The CJ said that AG was habitual of maligning judges. He said the AG should remember that he was not representing anyone in the court rather he appeared on the notice of the bench.
“Your job is assisting the court not defaming it. You are making fun of the high slot on which you are working”, the CJP snubbed the Attorney General while expressing his resentment.
On which, the AG said he never uttered odd remarks about any judge in the past. “I did not appear in the court on court’s notice but I came here to fulfill the requirements of the justice”, AG replied.
