Islamabad Chief Commissioner Tariq Mahmood Pirzada has constituted a committee to expedite preparation of revised PC-1 for the construction of Inspector General of Police Block. The committee headed by Development/ Finance Director, ICT, Rana Akbar Hayat included DIG Headquarters and officials from CDA which would review the construction work of IGP block adjacent to the newly constructed building ICT Administration and Judicial Complex, G-11/4 Islamabad. The chief commissioner has directed the committee to finalise the revised PC-1 of the project by next Monday for approval from the ECNEC and Planning Division.
The IG police block is being constructed at an area of 17,000 squares feet. Construction work on project of IG Police Block is in progress and roof of basement of IG Police Block is almost completed and columns would be erected by end of Ramadan.
