Absconder Roohullah, involved in the murder of a former attorney general, was rearrested on Monday in Dubai through Interpol.
According to a private TV channel on Tuesday, the accused had fled to Dubai from Rawalpindi District Headquarters Hospital two days ago. He is expected to be brought to Pakistan anytime.
A joint committee formed to investigate the circumstances behind Roohullah’s escape was asked to submit its report within two days.
At least 14 signed cheques and one telephone directory were recovered under the pillow of Roohullah in the hospital.
