As many as thirteen new dengue cases had been registered in the city, officials said on Tuesday. According to the Sindh dengue surveillance cell report, in current week at least 13 more people were declared dengue patients, making the toll to 128 patients in the year. The report said that the government had finalised its preparations towards controlling the disease. The doctors have advised the people to get anti mosquito spray; close windows so that mosquitoes could not enter their homes, cover all food items and cover water pots to avoid the disease.
Last years, hundreds of people were killed across the country especially in Lahore and other parts of upper Punjab due to this deadly virus, which erupts through a particular female mosquito.
