Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said President Asif Ali Zardari should quit daydreaming. According to a statement released by the Parliament House on Monday, Nisar said the government had made the lives of the people miserable and the president was talking of a victory in the next elections. “It seems he is living in another country,” he said. Nisar said the people were praying for an exit of the rulers while the rulers were dreaming of another term in the office.
“They must keep in mind that the circumstances have changed dramatically. The reality is that the rulers have destroyed national resources for their vested interests,” the PML-N leader said. He said it was regrettable that the president of the country was oblivious to the ground realities. “Corruption and lack of communication with the people have brought the country to such a point that people will made the PPP a thing of past,” he said. The leader of the opposition said “imposition of Zardari on the country is not less than wrath of God”.
