Continuing its efforts to bring together all the major political parties to face the challenges the country faces head on, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has invited Pakistan Peoples Party-Sherpao (PPP-S) for a proposed roundtable conference. An MQM delegation extended the invitation during a meeting with PPP-S chief Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao. Addressing media after the meeting, MQM deputy convener Farooq Sattar said the meeting was an effort to implement MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s call for forging unity among political parties to develop consensus on various challenges being faced by the country. Aftab Sherpao, while addressing on the occasion, said that interaction between political parties was very important and that it was very essential.
