Absconder Roohullah, involved in the murder of a former attorney general, was rearrested on Monday from Dubai through Interpol.
According to a private TV channel, the accused had fled to Dubai from Rawalpindi District Headquarter hospital two days ago in a filmy style. He is expected to be brought to Pakistan anytime.
A joint committee, formed to investigate the circumstances behind Roohullah’s escape, was asked to submit its report within two days.
At least 14 signed cheques and one telephone directory were recovered under the pillow of Roohullah in the hospital.
