The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has extended the last date till 7th August 2012, for the receipt of applications for PhD fellowship for “5000 scholars- Phase-II” to facilitate the candidates especially from the far flung areas.
The scholarship will be awarded for the academic year 2012-13 in all areas of studies on the quota basis as per Federal Government Quota policy which will be approved by Government of Pakistan.
After the extension of the date, HEC requires online forms with all the mandatory information so applications could be considered before the merit lists for the award of the scholarship are drawn. After the expiration of the deadline, any incomplete online applications will not be considered for further processing.
