Quetta firing incidents kill six

At least six people were gunned down in firing incidents in different localities of Quetta on Monday.
According to police sources, some unidentified people shot dead a man in Kali Ismail, raising the death toll in firing related incidents to six in a single day. Earlier, some armed men gunned down shopkeeper Muhammad Sadam near Farooq Mills at Arbab Karam Khan Road. Police reported that they entered the shop with an intention of robbery, killed the shopkeeper over resistance and fled from the scene.
In another incident, unknown people opened fire and killed Jalaluddin and Mohibullah who were sitting in front of their house near Poad Gali Chowk at Sabzal Road. The third incident occurred at Jail Road where unidentified people opened fire on two policemen, including Muhammad Sadiq and Muhammad Asif, who were deputed outside a mosque. Sadiq died on the spot while Muhammad Asif succumbed to his injuries at hospital.
Police and security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and launched search operation to arrest the culprits while the dead bodies were shifted to Bolan Medical Complex.
