The Member National Assembly of PPP from Jamshoro, Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur, while expressing his annoyance over interruption in power supply in Kotri City, called upon the management of Hyderabad Electrict Supply Company to make Feeder Baba Salahuddin functional with immediate effect so that the people of the area could take sigh of relief. Addressing an open katcherry at Kotri City on Thursday, he also underlined the need of the installation of power transformer at the Kotri Grid Station so that increasing load in Behar Colony, Khursheed Colony and other areas could be reduced.
Nawab Abdul Ghani also asked the Executive Engineer HESCO to ensure load management in the area as per schedule.
Responding to complaint about the supply of gas with low pressure, he asked the Zonal Manager SSGL Kotri to ensure the supply of gas with adequate pressure so that the consumers could not face any inconvenience. He also directed the officers of Taluka Municipal Administration to make all precautionary arrangements before the start of monsoon rains and also ensure cleanliness in the town. The Executive Engineer HESCO Tariq Bukhari informed MNA Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur that Baba Salahuddin Feeder will be made functional before Eid while the Zonal Manager SSGL informed that two inches diameters gas supply line has been replaced with five inches diameters and the supply of the gas has been started in the area with five percent increase of pressure.
