  1. Whats really damaging the democracy is the politicians of the country. We could have a much better democracy under a dictator than any politician. They are useless breed of people. Bring Musharraf back.

    • @Daddy. It,s PTBP. Yesterday we had exchanged very foul words. I just want to clear my position that I am not a Jiyala but I just want to ask you that Please do not use bad words about any person or bunch of people only because of their views and opinions. You can disagree with them but abusing them is not the way to express your resentments. I had read your comments and your point of view about Musharraf government and I totally agree with you. I am also a big fan of him. He was the only genuine leader we found for last many years.

      • @PTBP. I agree. We did exchanged a few words yestarday. I would go easy on jiayalas if they supported their position by backing them up with facts. They bad mouth everyone but they never explain whats so great about the ppp govt. Their govt has not accomplised once single thing that we as Pakistanis can be proud of. PPP govt. has made Pakistan the laughing stock of the world. There is noting but corruption, lawlessness, out of merit promotions, nepotism, inflation, economic disaster, poverty and the list goes on and on. If they could debate the issues intellectually, I would be more than happy to extend them respect. Musharraf may not have been perfect and may have had his flaws but he was by far a better leader to lead Pakistan than anyone we presently have. I look at what we had under him and then I see where we are now and being a patriot who wants the best for Pakistan I just want to make the jiayalas realize what they have done by misusing their votes.

      • @PTBP. If your comments mean truce, I'll extend that courtesy to you. The only reason I go off on jiayals is because I want them to understand what their bad judgement and misuse of vote has done to the country. Do an honest comparison with Musharraf's tenure and it becomes crystal clear where the country is headed now. Thas my only problem with the jiayals.

        • I can not comment why Jiyalas vote for PPP. They may have their own reasons. Last night on a TV channel they were telling about a Gallup Survey which shows that almost 45% of PPP vote bank consist of those people who have 0% literacy rate and they are among the poorest of people. In the last General election there were only 345 million votes cast out of 810 million registered voters. I think even if half of remaining 465 million people had voted to elect any better government we may have not facing the current problems. This makes Non voting people also responsible for the sufferings we are going through. Now if you compare total Votes PPP got were 120 million and the unused votes were 465 million. So theoretically Non jiyalas are also needed to be questioned.

  2. Its civil dictatorship within the parties and in government institutions. They rarely accept rule of law. Corrupt people are promoted to support corrupt governance. None of them work a bit for poor people. Nawaz sharif and his struggle is only for power and he gives big statements just to win few votes. Thats all. If today any martial law comes he will again run away. And people call him a leader:p
