Zardari accepts NAB vice chief’s resignation

President Asif Ali Zardari has accepted the resignation of National Accountability Bureau Vice Chairman Javed Zia Qazi. According to media reports, Qazi submitted his resignation with NAB Chairman Admiral (r) Faseeh Bukhari on July 3. A NAB spokesman said the NAB chairman forwarded Qazi’s resignation to President Zardari with his recommendations, which the president accepted. Qazi had to perform his duties as NAB vice chairman until May 2013 but he resigned from his post due to some personal reasons.
