Water gushing out of a breach in a canal near Gambat in Khairpur district inundated four villages and damaged crops at several acres of agriculture land on Tuesday. According to sources, a 20-feet breach in feeder canal near Gambat inundated four villages and destroyed crops at several acres causing millions of loss to the farmers. The villagers were busy in plugging the breach on their own as irrigation department has not taken any measure yet.
