At least seven militants were killed when jetfighters shelled their hideouts in upper Orakzai Agency, official sources said on Tuesday. Security sources said that jetfighters pounded the hideouts of militants in Mamuzai and Kotakhel areas of upper Orkazai – considered to strongholds of Taliban militants in the tribal agency – which resulted in the killing of seven terrorists and injuries to several others. Three hideouts of militants were also destroyed in Tuesday’s attack, security forces sources added. Earlier on Monday, 14 militants were killed in military operation in the same area.
