Prolonged and unscheduled power outages in various cities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday forced the citizens and traders to move to streets.
According to the details, hundreds of enraged protestors in different cities including Gujranwala, Jhang, Multan, Mansehra, Balakot and other areas in both the provinces held demonstrations against 15 to 20 hours load shedding.
The protesters burned tyres and chanted slogans against the government.
The protesters said that they were compelled to stage the protest as long and unscheduled power cuts had turned their lives bitter.
In various cities the traffic remained jammed for several hours due to burnt tyres and big hurdles placed by the enraged protesters.
People must attack the president house, the P.M house, houses of ministers and PPP and allies MNA. Thdey should cut off electricity suppply from their houses. Only then they will realize what load shedding is all about. This the language they will understand.
What good is that going to bring? The corrupt officials will call the WAPDA electrician to their homes first and get the lines fixed while the rest will be left reeling.
We need to get together and kick these politicians out once and for all. Vote when voting times come, protest when the time is right for protests, support judiciary as it 'tries' to clean the system, voice approval of new faces (yes yes Im talking about Imran) & definitely hang them the politicians we get the first glimpse of opportunity.
Democracy be damned, corrupt be hanged. And finally a prayer: Death to jiyalas.
Protesting is your right,do it at a place where the right people get to see it,and please one piece of advice, stop burning some poor mans rickshaw or his bus, thats their livelyhood you dumn people.Want to burn something, burn the presidents A$$,burn PM's jet black hair, burn some rich persons home or his car.one million people out on the streets and I see 2 tires burning, thats not what I call getting attention.
