A second bomb planted in a motorcycle near the Chinese Consulate was defused by bomb disposal squad.
Additional Inspector General (AIG) Iqbal Mehmood said that the police have recovered a bomb after residents of the area informed the police about a suspicious motorcycle.
Initial investigation suggests that the target might have been Rangers personnel.
The AIG said that the bomb was similar to the previous one which exploded on Monday afternoon.
