Tourism plays a great role in economic growth and the promotion of culture in a country. Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) Managing Director Habibur Rehman Gilani, while talking to APP on Sunday, said that TDCP had been organizing activities aimed at promoting tourism among all segments of society especially the youth. He said that they were coming up with another interesting activity: “Backpacking” which means trekking or hiking, would be an entirely new experience and hoped that the younger segment of society would enjoy it.
